Biography Evelyn Anderson was born in Willmar, Minnesota, March 20, 1899. She graduated from Carleton College in 1921 with a BA and received her MA in chemistry from the same institution in the following year. Continuing her education, she graduated MD from the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine, in 1928, and served an internship and residency at the University of Hospital.
